Two decades of precision moulding.
What began with five people in 1996 has grown into a team of 55, built on a consistent record of quality, teamwork and customer satisfaction.
Who we are
An ISO 9001:2015 certified
injection moulder in Pune.
Established in 1996 in Pune, Maharashtra, Absan Polymers manufactures moulded engineering-polymer components for industrial and automotive customers.
Today we supply precision-engineered suspension, chassis and axle components to trailer, truck and bus manufacturers and their suppliers. Beyond automotive, we manufacture complex consumer products — thermally insulated vacuum glass flasks, borewell water meters and RFID card holders.
Our particular specialism is high wear-and-tear components: parts that have to keep performing under heavy friction, load and cyclic stress. We supply pan-India, from Madurai in the south to Kolkata in the east.
What drives us
Take the cost out.
Leave the engineering in.
Most of the work that reaches us starts the same way: a component that already does its job, and a customer who needs it to cost less, weigh less or last longer. How you answer that says everything about a manufacturer.
Saving that survives contact with the field
A cheaper part is only cheaper if it still performs. Every conversion begins by fixing what must not change — fit, load, tolerance, service life — and finding the saving everywhere else. We would rather decline a project than deliver one that fails in service.
Quality decided long before inspection
Quality is set by the grade specified, the tool cut, the gate positioned and the cycle settled on — not by the check at the end. Keeping tooling support, moulding and machining on one site means the person who can fix a problem is a short walk from where it appeared.
Gauges and standards agreed jointly
We build dedicated gauges for each component and validate them with the customer against their drawing. Both sides then measure conformance the same way, which removes most of the argument from a supply relationship before it starts.
Lighter parts, longer service, less waste
A polymer component that replaces a metal one is lighter on the vehicle that carries it, will not corrode out of service, and takes less energy to produce. Across a production run, those engineering decisions add up to measurable reductions in fuel, scrap and replacement.
Where we’re heading
The next five to ten years.
We have grown from five people to fifty-five without outside investment, by reinvesting in capability rather than chasing volume. The next decade follows the same logic.
Deepen the conversion practice
Metal-to-polymer conversion is where we add the most value. We are building the materials and simulation knowledge to take on heavier-loaded, more safety-critical components than we do today.
Test more, assume less
Our endurance and impact rigs already prove wear life in-house. We intend to widen that bench so a customer can see a component validated against their duty cycle before it reaches production.
Traceability end to end
Digital batch traceability from raw material lot through machine, shift and dispatch — so any component in the field can be traced back to the conditions that made it.
Grow capacity, keep control
More capacity across newer plants, added at a pace that never outruns our ability to hold quality. Growth that costs us our defect record would not be growth.
What we do for our customers
Trusted by the OEMs who
set the specification.
The work we carry out for the manufacturers we supply. Several have worked with us for more than a decade, across chassis, suspension and axle programmes.
Chassis, suspension & axle components
Bushes, spherical bearings, wear pads and anti-vibration mounts that keep performing under heavy friction, load and cyclic stress.
Cost and weight taken out
Existing components reworked so they cost less, weigh less or last longer, without giving up the engineering that makes them work.
Conformance agreed up front
Dedicated gauges built for each component and validated with the customer against their drawing, so both sides measure the same way.
Complete products, not just parts
Vacuum flasks, borewell water meters and RFID card holders manufactured in-house and supplied pan-India.
Our facility
Inside the Wagholi plant.
Only one special purpose machine is shown. Our SPMs are designed and built in-house for the specific products they make, and those designs stay proprietary to Absan Polymers and our customers — so they are not published online.
